About me

I have experience in tutoring elementary and high school students. I gained tutoring experience mainly by tutoring my sibling and classmates, but I also taught students from other schools.
When teaching a subject, I try to ensure that the child understands the material rather than just memorizing it. With younger children, I strive to work with various activities. I aim to find a teaching style that suits each student and to help them outside of our tutoring sessions as well.
My favorite subjects include biology and English. I enjoy how biology allows us to understand the world around us and apply theoretical knowledge to everyday practice. I fell in love with English later, specifically when I needed to use it and discovered how amazing it is to overcome language barriers. English is a subject in which I once struggled, so I can empathize with students who have similar difficulties. The good news is that such obstacles can be overcome if the student is interested :)

Mojimi rodnými jazykmi sú Slovenčina a Čeština. Anglický jazyk mám na úrovni B2 a som plynulá hovoriaca s bohatými skúsenosťami v formálnom aj neformálnom prostredí. Z nemeckého jazyka som držiteľkou DSD certifikátu na úrovni B1.
